This is a 5 day safari exploring Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Jinja to experience the Nile at its best when you go for the adventurouswhite water rafting. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is inhabited by a population of about 340 individuals of Mountain Gorillas, which makes up almost half of all the mountain gorillas remaining in the world. The rest of the worldwide mountain gorilla population is in the nearby Virunga Mountains which is shared by Rwanda, Uganda and Democratic Republic of Congo. Selected gorillas families have been habituated to human presence and the number of visitors is tightly controlled to prevent degradation of the habitat and risks to the gorillas.
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is best known for its outstanding gorilla trekking safari, but it also provides refuge to elephant, chimpanzee, monkeys and various small antelope and bird species. There are seven habituated gorilla groups located in different parts of Bwindi. The groups range in size from 10 to 20 individuals, each with one or two Silverbacks.

Gorilla trekking is an active expedition with moderate to strenuous hikes. Participants must be at least 15 years old, and should be physically fit. While tracking Gorilla in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, guests will trek through thick jungle at elevations ranging up to 10,000 feet, for as many as four to eight hours, depending on the location of the primates. Treks can be arduous; and the terrain can be steep, uneven, wet, and muddy. Early morning drive to Jinja for the Magnificent Uganda adventure experience. The journey will take you through Mabira forest the tropical rain forest in central Uganda, tea and sugarcane plantations plus several roadside markets arriving at Kalagala falls in time for your full or half day white water rafting adventure on the Nile. You will then return back to Kampala arriving in the evening for overnight at Cassia Lodge. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
Early departure to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park located in Southwestern Uganda with a stopover at the equator for some informative talk, photography and some experiments before proceeding to Mbarara town arriving in time for Lunch. Drive through the rolling green hills of Banana and Tea plantations arriving in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the evening. Accommodation at Buhoma lodge (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.)
Early morning, breakfast with your packed lunch, you will report to the Park headquarters for registration and join other trackers in a briefing about the dos and the don’ts during your gorilla trekking at 7:45 am. You will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the Gorillas, which can take you half an hour to three quarters of the day. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. It is an extraordinary feeling being with these beautiful yet endangered Creatures. Dinner and overnight as previous night.
Early morning breakfast with your packed lunch, start the long drive back to Entebbe. This day is reserved for late night flights. ( Breakfast & lunch)
