BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is best known for its primate populations, being home to about half the world’s mountain gorillas, at over 300 endangered gorillas. The ecosystem is exceptionally high in biodiversity, with rich flora and fauna species. This why every traveler wants to visit Bwindi on their African Safari. Bwindi National Park is also a birding paradise, home to 348 bird species. This area is one of Uganda’s best bird watching destinations. KIBALE NATIONAL PARK

Kibale National Park is top chimp trekking destination. It contains one of the loveliest and most varied tracts of tropical forest in Uganda. The park is home to a total of 70 mammal species, most famously 13 species of primate including the chimpanzee. It also contains over 375 species of birds.

QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

Queen Elizabeth National Park is understandably Uganda’s most popular tourist destination. It is the home of the famous tree climbing lion as well as the Uganda Kob, other antelope species, elephant, baboons, hippos, buffalo and chimpanzees. Over 600 species of birds have been recorded, making the park a magnet for bird watchers.

It stretches from the crater-dotted foothills of the Rwenzori range in the north, along the shores of Lake Edward to the remote Ishasha River in the south, incorporating a wide variety of habitats that range from savanna and wetlands to gallery and lowland forest. This remarkable diversity is reflected in its bird list of over 600 species, the largest of any protected area in Africa.

Arrive in Entebbe and transfer to hotel. The next day, visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary on Ngamba Island, a habitat for rescued and orphaned chimpanzees. Later, explore the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre. Accommodation at Lake Victoria Serena Resort (Day 2: B, L, D)

3 & 4Day Three and Four:Entebbe to Kibale Forest National Park

Drive from Entebbe to Kibale National Park and check in to our lodge, set on a crater lake. Meet with our experienced guide and staff and search for chimpanzees, black-and-white colobus, red-tailed, and blue monkeys, as well as the rare l’Hoest’s monkey. Explore the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. Accommodation at Kyaninga Lodge (B, L, D daily)

5 & 6Day Five and Six: Kibale National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park

We will spend a second morning tracking chimpanzees. Continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park, and go on safari to look for elephants, lions, and Ugandan kobs before an afternoon wildlife cruise. Accommodation at Kyambura Gorge Lodge (B, L, D daily)

7 & 8Day Seven and Eight: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The next morning, head into the park’s forests, home to roughly half the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. Sit among these gentle giants, observing one of the planet’s most endangered creatures up close. Accommodation at Bwindi Lodge (B, L, D daily)

9 & 10Day Nine and Ten: Bwindi to Kampala

After breakfast, we drive back towards Kampala. We make stopover at Igongo Cultural Center for lunch, drive through protected area of Lake Mburo National Park, make another stopover at the Equator and continue to Entebbe , arriving in the evening.
