Depart to eastern Uganda via Jinja we proceed to Mbale, a town at the foot of the Mount Elgon. Meet new culture and experience ancient Africa story telling. A lunch stop in Mbale town and proceed to Sipi falls. (B-L-D)
After breakfast, morning starts with a hiking to the gorgeous Sipi Falls. Take a walk to all the three falls, meet local folks and listen to ancient stories about how the falls were formed. Return to the lodge for lunch at 12:00hrs, relax and visit local farms coops in the afternoon. Learn amazing stories of some the world’s most hardworking organic coffee farmers. Enjoy your freshly brewed local coffee and watch the sunset. (B-L-D).
Continue the journey and head to north through beautiful landscapes and traditional African villages. It is 100% safe to travel, arrival is late in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Boma Hotel. (B-L-D)
After breakfast, the journey to Kidepo Valley National Park continues. It will take 3 hours to arrive at the national park. Have lunch and go for a game drive in the afternoon for a first introduction with the wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Apoka Safari lodge. (B-L-D)
Spend the entire day visiting one the most beautiful National parks in Uganda. Safari drives in search of giraffes, ostriches, zebras, elephants and lions. The park also has over 475 species. Have lunch, opt for an extra game drive or visit local Karamojong tribes. Dinner and overnight at Apoka Safari lodge. (B-L-D)
We will drive south to Murchison Falls National Park. Entry start with a game drive. Meet the buffaloes, elephants, hartebeests and Uganda and proceed to accommodation at Paraa Safari Lodge. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge. (B-L-D)
After breakfast , start off the day with another game drive on the northern banks of River Nile, a boat cruise on the river Nile for game viewing in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge. (B-L-D)
Morning visit to the top of the Falls where you can view the falls Nile. See how the Nile thunders 45 meters below in a series of cascades. Continue to the southern part of the Murchison Falls National Park to Budongo Forest Reserve. We will go for a guided chimp tracking in the forest. Dinner and overnight at Budongo Eco Lodge. (B-L-D)
After breakfast we will drive south toward Kampala. En route, make a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, home to the only wild rhinos in Uganda. The reserve was created to reintroduce rhinos to the country which have been extinct since 1982. Track the rhinos and observe them in their habitat at a very close and safe distance. Continue to Jinja. Dinner and overnight at Nile Hotel (B-L-D)
Go for rafting on the mighty River Nile. This is a unique activity to complete your Uganda Safari. Dinner and overnight at Adrift Camp (B-L-D)
After breakfast, we will visit the source of the mighty River Nile. It’s a lovely place to take several pictures. We will drive out of Jinja town and head to Entebbe in time for your flight. If you have other activities planned and your flight is at a later date, let us know and we will have a car and driver ready to take you to the airport. (B-L)
